Cross-Country Skiing.   Gear can be rented at The Trailhead, a local store.  Call 719-395-8001 for prices.  When the snow is good, you can XC or Telemark Ski right from your cabin. If there's less snow around the ranches, several scenic trails are within a 45-minute drive.
