Flying In
You can fly in to Denver International Airport (DEN) or Colorado Springs Airport (COS). Buena Vista (the event location) is about 140 miles from the Denver airport and about 100 miles from the Colorado Springs airport.
us your travel arrangements and we'll help connect you with a Denver or Boulder area dancer who can give you a ride. Because the Denver airport is a bit of a drive from downtown Denver, you may need to take a SuperShuttle or RTD Bus to downtown Denver or Boulder to meet your ride.
For the ultimate mobility, rent a car. You'll be able to slip away for an hour at the hot springs or take a day to go skiing on your own. Again we're willing to help you connect with others who are flying in and may want to split the cost of a rental car. Click here for rental car info.
Driving Here
The Colorado snow we love also brings questions about the road conditions. However, plow crews work diligently to keep roads clear of snow. Check out current weather and road conditions.
Expect at least a 3 hour drive from the Denver airport and a 2.5 hour drive from Colorado Springs airport on clear roads. If you would be interested in or willing to carpool, please let us know on your registration form or by .

Directions
Once on Highway 24 (from the North):- Head South on Hwy 24 towards Buena Vista for 32 miles from the stoplight in Leadville.
- Once you pass the Mt. Harvard sign, keep your eyes out for County Road 384 (on the right).
- Turn right (West) onto CR 384.
- You should see a sign that says "Adventure Unlimited Ranches" at that intersection.
- Take Hwy 24 North to Buena Vista.
- At the stoplight in Buena Vista, look at your odometer.
- Go 2.8 miles north out of town.
- Turn left (West) onto CR 384.
- You should see a sign that says "Adventure Unlimited Ranches" at that intersection.
- Go 1.2 to the stop sign and turn right (North) onto County Road 361.
- Then go 0.35 miles.
- Take your first left onto County Road 366 (a dirt road).
- As you turn onto this road, you'll see a sign that says "100 Elk Outdoor Center".
- Follow the signs to the "dance". You'll check-in at Valerie Lodge.
