Registration Fees
Regular Registration
$315 per person ($350 after February 1st, 2012) includes:- Evening contra dances on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights
- Music and dance workshops on Friday and Saturday
- Sunday morning contra
- Three (3) nights of cabin housing accomodations
- Food provided: Thursday dinner through lunch on Sunday
Non-Dancer
$265 per person if you don't dance, but want to come enjoy a fabulous weekend retreat"Youth" (under 25) Prices
We are offering a limited number of $115 discounts for those under 25 years of age to attend. Youth are encouraged to also apply for a $50 volunteer scholarship.In addition to the $115 discount: Deduct $45 for youth under 13 OR $90 for youth under 5.
Accommodation options
Cabin Housing
Admission includes three night stay.Quaint log cabins with 2 to 4 rooms per cabin.
Cabins have indoor bathrooms and hot water.
Sleeping is on bunk beds (LOWER BUNKS ONLY)- all linens are provided and placed folded on bed (bed will NOT be made).
Each room will have no more than 7 people.
Private Housing
Cost is $415 per person for double-occupancy Private Housing. Private rooms have their own bathroom and may have two twins or a double bed. A number of private rooms are located a beautiful walk downhill from the dancing/dining lodge (about 1/2 mile).Private rooms will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.
Both registration form and check must be received. If private rooms are no longer available at the time of your registration, a full refund will be available to you if you choose not to attend Stellar with a different housing option.
No Accommodations
Stay off-site at accommodations of your choice. (Admission is $250 with no housing.) Discounts for Stellar participants offered at Lakeside Motel in Buena Vista: 719-395-2994. Mention Stellar Days and Nights when making your reservations.Other Information
VOLUNTEERING
When you check-in, you are invited to sign up for an optional half-hour volunteering slot. Your contribution is greatly appreciated! If you would like to volunteer more and receive a registration discount, see info below.
SCHOLARSHIPS / DISCOUNTS ARE AVAILABLE!
Those interested in a scholarship should complete the bottom of the registration form with a $90/person deposit ideally by December 15th, 2011. The Stellar Scholarship Coordinator will then contact you regarding your application by January 15th, 2012. Email the Scholarship Coordinator with questions. Any remaining amount will be due by February 1st, 2012.
Types of Scholarships:
- NEXT GENERATION - for those under 25 - to keep the traditions alive. We have a limited number of $115 Next Generation
Discounts available and they will be given on a first come, first serve basis.
Funds for Next Generation Scholarships were raised by our Stellar 2011 Auction. Thanks to all those who donated!
- VOLUNTEER SCHOLARSHIPS - for those willing to volunteer four to five hours throughout the weekend. All scholarship recipients should be willing to miss up to 2 hours (of the 9 total hours) of evening dances to help with dinner dishes. Volunteers are also needed for setting up for meals, cleaning the Lodge, cleaning cabins, and other miscellaneous tasks. Volunteers are given a $50 discount to Stellar.
Cancellation Policies
The following is participant cancellation refund policy:- Before February 1, 2012 - $20 cancellation fee is charged.
- Between February 1, 2012 and February 13, 2012 - 50% of registration fee will be refunded.
- No refunds given after February 13, 2012
- Registration is not transferable.
- Before February 1, 2012: All participants will be refunded 90% of registration fee.
- Between February 1, 2012 and February 13, 2012: All participants will be refunded 75% of registration fee.
- After February 13, 2012: All participants will be refunded 50% of registration fee
